We are hiring! Three-year PostDoc opportunity in Lyon.
A three-year postdoctoral position is open in my team at the Physics Lab at ENS Lyon. The position is funded by the ANR 2025 call via the JCJC grant (DiPCaM).
The project focuses on disentangling the role of protein composition and architecture on the underlying phase behaviour. We aim to develop a transferable coarse-grained model for proteins based on the Martini force field. Next, we will examine how the physicochemical properties of the sequence influence phase separation properties through large-scale molecular dynamics simulations. We will pay particular attention to two protein families implicated in neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will join the interdisciplinary environment at the CBPsmn computational hub, working under my supervision and collaborating with colleagues from Physics and Biology Labs at ENS Lyon and the University of Copenhagen.
We invite applications from candidates with backgrounds in computational physics, biology, or chemistry:
- Experience in particle-based simulations (essential)
- Experience with software such as GROMACS, LAMMPS, or HOOMD-Blue, and use of cluster facilities (preferable)
- Ability to work in a team (essential)
- Background in soft matter or polymer physics (preferable)
To apply, please email your CV and a brief research statement to my address: tatiana.morozova@ens-lyon.fr.
Informal inquiries are welcome!
Application deadline: October 10th, 2025
Start date: December 2025-March 2026
Additional information:
- Monthly gross salary depends on the candidate's prior postdoctoral experience and starts from 2900 euros.
- Lyon offers a rich cultural and food scene. The city is just two hours from both the Alps and the Mediterranean coast. With an international airport and train station, traveling within France and abroad is convenient.
